Jon Estreich is running for County Comptroller against Brookhaven Highway Superintendent Dan Losquadro. He is a former County prosecutor and is a major in the Army reserve. He will be an independent watchdog over County finances. For more information about Jon, click here. Chris Murray is running for State Senate. He is an attorney, environmental advocate, and a fighter for civil rights. Chris’ priorities include making life more affordable on Long Island and strengthening our schools. For more information about Chris, click here. Chris Gallant, our NY-1 Congressional candidate, cannot attend but his Field Organizer Ava Babington will discuss Chris’ race to unseat Nick LaLota. Click here for more information. With less than 30 days before election day, our Democratic candidates need your help. Please consider volunteering at the Setauket Dem HQ located at 18 Woods Corner Road, Setauket (near the former Curry Club). You can write postcards, call voters, and knock doors. The HQ is open M-F, 11 AM to 8:30 PM and Sat & Sun, 9:30 AM to 6 PM. Early voting begins on Oct 24 and ends on Nov 1. You can vote at any early voting location throughout Suffolk County. Hold the date: We meet the second Thursday of the month. We do not meet in July, August, or December. Our next meeting will be November 12.
